SD Senate Bill Requires Transgender Students To Use Restroom Based On Their Gender

Sioux Falls, SD, United States (4E) – The South Dakota Senate on Tuesday passed a bill requiring students to use facilities corresponding to their gender and anatomy indicated on their birth certificates.

Transgenders and supporters of their rights are hoping that Gov . Dennis Daugaard will veto House Bill 1008 that passed on a vote of 20-15.
